Joyce G. Perocchi
Attorney Joyce Perocchi has over 20 years of
experience in complex family law litigation, as well as uncontested and
contested family law matters, including divorce, custody, contempt,
paternity, and modification of prior judgments. Prior to opening her own
law office, Attorney Perocchi was a shareholder at a Boston law firm.
Ms. Perocchi has been listed in Wood/White
Inc.’s Best Lawyers in America for 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and named a
Super lawyer by Boston Magazine in the field of family law for 2005, 2006,
2007 and 2008.
In 2005, Ms. Perocchi was
named by Boston Magazine as one of the top fifty women attorneys in
Massachusetts. In addition, she has been chosen as one of the “Ten Leaders”
in Matrimonial and Divorce Law for suburban Boston based on a survey by
Digital Press International of Fort Lee, N.J. (http://tenleaders.com/region.php?fid=2&rid=30).
Ms. Perocchi is also listed
as one of the best family law practitioners in Massachusetts by the
publication "Best of the United States" (http://www.bestofus.com).
Attorney Perocchi is a
recipient of the 21st Century Award awarded by the Massachusetts Bar
Association. She is also a Certified Mediator and Conciliator, a member of
the Essex County and Middlesex County Bar Associations and a Fellow of the
American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where she is one of only 70
attorneys in Massachusetts who has been accorded this honor.
Ms. Perocchi is the author
of a number of articles including: “Rule 401 Financial Statements”,
Butterworth; “Davidson v. Davidson, a Careful Guide Through the Thicket of
Future Expectancies”, Butterworth (see Articles); “Child Custody in
Massachusetts”, National Business Institute; “Prejudgment Remedies”, MCLE
Family Law Journal; “Pretrial Hearings”, MCLE Family Law Journal; “Where
There’s a Will,” ABA Family Advocate, April 2000 (see Articles).
Ms. Perocchi graduated cum
laude from Bryn Mawr College and received her J.D. degree from Suffolk
University. She was admitted to the Massachusetts and U.S. District Court
and District of Massachusetts in 1981. In 1998 she was admitted to the bar
of the State of Maine. Ms. Perocchi is a.v. rated by Martindale-Hubbell
which is the highest rating given by that organization.
